Why in-person coaching hits deeper:

1) Creative energy you can’t recreate online - being in the room amplifies confidence, and inspiration. Nothing beats that personal connection. 
2) True mentorship - you’re not just learning techniques; you’re absorbing mindset, workflow, and studio discipline, but also feeding off the energy of those around you. 
3) Doing things at your own terms - take a break, walk on the beaches of Bali, have a drink together, loosen up and open space for creativity to flow. 

Online coaching opens doors - but in-person coaching opens a whole new version of a producer.

This has to be one of the biggest reasons why I want to build this studio, personal connection is so important to me and it’s irreplaceable. We have just crossed the 25% mark of our goal and I am so excited and grateful 🫶🏼
  • Nobody told me building a studio in Bali would be this hard. Here are the top 3 challenges I’ve been going through:

1. Permits & Land Certificates — Bali bureaucracy is… an adventure. Making sure every permit, land cert, and legal detail is 100% correct takes time, patience, and a lot of coffee 😂.

2. Shipping Gear to Indonesia — We’re spoiled in the West. Shipping high-tier studio equipment to an island? Let’s just say: customs, delays, and logistics love to test your mental resilience 😭

3. Construction Quality Control — Getting the vision built exactly right is the hardest part. Contractor standards vary a LOT, so staying on top of every detail will be a full-time job 🔨😅

Despite all this… we’re doing it.
This project means everything, and we want to be fully transparent with you all as we bring this dream studio to life 🙏🔥

  • Why am I building this studio? 

1. I have been doing @soundcation retreats all over the world and it never really had a permanent home. The retreats happening were always dependent on third party factors, so now this can change. I can host Soundcation far more often and give more opportunities to upcoming producers to learn and improve their craft.
2. I will have a creative space that brings inspiration beyond the music making - everything can be a source of inspiration, nature, air, beauty, people. And Bali has all of this. The creative process doesn’t begin within 4 walls, it’s everywhere around us.
3. Having full control of mixi no & mastering - this is something I am very confident and good at and now I want to create a space that will deliver that quality each and every time, without depending how on other studios or struggling with their setups.
